Postie Bike Safari 2026
Raising funds for Childhood Cancer Support
Raised so far
$436
Our goal
$100,000
Each year, riders from across Queensland jump on their trusty Postie bikes and hit the open road, covering around 2,000 kilometres of stunning regional landscapes over one unforgettable week. Along the way, they raise vital funds through donations, raffles and auctions, helping make a real difference to the lives of others.
In 2025, the Postie Bike Safari proudly raised more than $100,000 for Childhood Cancer Support, providing a home away from home for regional families facing the toughest of times. And in 2026, we are returning…ready to ride and raise even more.
The 2026 route and dates are being finalised, but registrations are open now. Please note the $500 Rider registration fee will be invoiced in 2026. So, if you’re up for an adventure with purpose, don’t wait! Gear up, register early, and start fundraising today.

It’s simple...hit $5000 or more in your Postie Bike Safari fundraising, and you’ll earn your place among an elite group of riders who go above and beyond for families facing childhood cancer. This year’s prize is still under wraps, but trust us, it’ll be worth every kilometre. Keep those donations rolling in, and you could be celebrating at the finish line as part of the 2026 $5000 Club.

Meet Tessa from the Sunshine Coast
Before their world was turned upside down, the Perry family lived a typical family life on the Sunshine Coast. But all of that changed almost overnight.
When Tessa began complaining of sore hips, Renee thought it might be a strain from daycare play. But within a week, the pain had spread across her little body, and Tessa had stopped walking altogether.
The diagnosis was devastating. Tessa had a Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma. Within a week, the family had relocated from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane.
Over the next 20 months, Tessa endured a treatment regime most adults would struggle to face: five rounds of induction chemo, an eight-and-a-half-hour surgery, seven rounds of refractory treatment, two bone marrow transplants, 12 sessions of radiation, and six rounds of immunotherapy.
“Without Childhood Cancer Support, we would be lost. It’s not just a charity. It’s safety. It’s home,” Tessa's mum, Renee said.

How your support will help.
We provide a range of services to help families stay together, and close to the care they need.
We support our families during this time by providing a stable living environment close to the hospital. A home away from home, where families can have a meal after a long day of treatment, complimentary patient transport and free counselling by a qualified social worker throughout their stay.
To meet the demand in supporting more regional families impacted by childhood cancer we are redeveloping and renovating five old houses into a 15-unit accommodation facility for families to call home whilst their child undergoes life- saving cancer treatment at the Queensland Children’s Hospital. This $10 million capital works project will offer a further 5,475 nights of accommodation to more than 60 families each year. All funds raised, will go towards making this vision a reality.
