Well, apparently conquering Fraser Island/K’gari on a postie bike with Red Bike Adventures wasn’t enough punishment for one bloke.
So now I’m saddling up again and taking on the Postie Bike Safari to raise vital funds for Childhood Cancer Support.
This incredible organisation helps regional families who have to relocate for paediatric oncology treatment. They provide free short-term and long-term accommodation, fully equipped with everything families need, plus food, transport and counselling services. Basically, they help take away the extra stress so families can focus on what really matters: their child.
Those who know me well know that I did my fair share of time in hospital as a child from injuries sustained from another 2 wheels.
I’ve already survived sand, corrugations, dodgy tracks and questionable decision-making on two wheels, so surely this next adventure can’t be too bad. Famous last words.
