Using football as a force for good

The Premier's XI vs Corporate FC Challenge Cup Charity Match brings together Queensland Government Ministers, Members of Parliament and corporate industry leaders for a unique football event with a purpose. Proudly hosted by Football Queensland in partnership with the Parliamentary Friends of Football, the match will raise much need funds for Childhood Cancer Support, helping provide free accommodation and vital support services for regional families whose child is receiving cancer treatment in Brisbane. More than just a game, the Challenge Cup showcases the power of football to unite government, business and the community in making a meaningful difference. We extend our sincere thanks to Football Queensland for its leadership, vision and commitment to using football as a force for good, and to Parliamentary Friends of Football Co-Chairs Steve Minnikin MP and Lance McCallum MP for their outstanding support of the event. We also thank every Member of Parliament and corporate participant who has laced up their boots to support Queensland families facing childhood cancer.
