I am fundraising to make a difference for families affected by childhood cancer
On the 10th of August I am shaving my head and donating my hair to raise money for two charities in South East Queensland supporting families faced with cancer.
This will be in memory of the beautiful Andie Vonhoff, who was taken from us too soon after fighting a courageous battle with Osteosarcoma.
Andie at the age of 14, had to travel to the Brisbane Children’s Hospital to facilitate treatment. Andie and her family were supported by the team at Childhood Cancer Support with a stable home away from home, transport services and a range of other supports on the difficult journey Andie and her family were navigating.

Your contribution will help Childhood Cancer Support to continue to provide accommodation and support not only at our existing services but also the transition to our newly purchased houses in East Brisbane – within walking distance to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
On behalf of the families we support at Childhood Cancer Support – thank you.
Proud of you Kate ❤️
