Charleville SHS - School and Community Fundraiser

By Dani Stickler Join Me

Charleville SHS Junior Captains are fundraising to make a difference for families affected by childhood cancer.

Your contribution will help Childhood Cancer Support to continue to provide accommodation and support not only at our existing services but also the transition to our newly purchased houses in East Brisbane – within walking distance to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.

Our School has three events scheduled to raise money for this cause.

Event 1: Brunchfest - our $1 Brunch during morning tea

Event 2: Tattoo-A-Teacher - Where students tatted up the teachers during the sports carnival.

Event 3: The Mane Event - The big shave, cut or colour event held in term 3.

Extras: The year 9 business students are also donating all profits from their social enterprise businesses to help this cause.

Thank you so much for your support for our Junior Captains and this amazing charity

My Updates

Tattoo-A-Teacher

Tuesday 25th Aug
At the beginning of term 3 we held our annual athletics carnival. During the carnival students had the opportunity to purchase temporary tattoos and 'tat up' their teachers.
Tattoos started from $1 for a small and $12 for an arm.

Unluckily for some of our teachers, some tattoos were more temporary than others...

Brunchfest

Tuesday 25th Aug
In Term 2 we held Brunchfest where all food was very kindly donated by students. staff and the hospitality classes in Years 9, 11 and 12.
All items were sold for $1 and we sold out in less than 20 minutes!
Thank you so much to everyone who came and supported Brunchfest. We really appreciate it!

Thank you to my Sponsors
