Followmont Transport is a Queensland family-owned business that express delivers goods to every corner of Queensland and New South Wales, every day through our 1,000+ fleet and unique network of linehaul and local contractors, providing an unmatched reach.
What started in 1984 as a one truck, two-man operation, has become one of Australia’s most reliable and dynamic transport companies. We are now the State’s largest family-owned transport company and the preferred Queensland and New South Wales carrier with over 950 staff, 23 company-owned Depots, and a network of local contractors.
Spending time at the Herston homes and meeting some of the incredible families, we saw first-hand the amazing work Childhood Cancer Support do in providing care for families in need.
As a business that invests in regional communities, we love that Childhood Cancer Support connects with people from every corner of the state to ensure they are provided a home away from home and the support and love they need during such difficult times. At Followmont Transport, we want to help make a difference and we are privileged to contribute to their fundraising efforts.

How your support makes a difference.
Meet Ellie & the Ross family from Toowoomba.
The Ross family lived a busy life in Highfields, Toowoomba. Karlie and Mason Ross had two young children and balanced their work with raising their family. On Christmas Eve of 2020, their two-year-old daughter, Eleanor (Ellie) developed a fever. They could never have realised the diagnosis that would come from this.
On 27th January, Ellie was given a blood test and just a few hours later, Karlie was being rushed to a local emergency before being put in an ambulance to the Queensland Children’s Hospital. Later that night, Karlie was told that Ellie had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
"Childhood Cancer Support removes the burden of accommodation, therefore helping families like ours focus on getting our daughter better."
